Cabinet Revival is a licensed, fully-insured, family-owned and operated business.

Cabinet Revival’s journey started in 2014 when two brothers, Douglas and Eric Smyth, who own the number one painting company in Newport County, Rhode Island, Smyth Painting, decided to expand their services into kitchen refinishing as a division of their business. Through trial and error, they achieved a process that several paint contractors have tried to mimic but failed in doing so. Owner Douglas Smyth says, “I would never sell a product that I would not purchase myself. It is important to give our clients not just a process, but an experience that they trust is what they are paying for. Trust is everything and knowing that the product that we are selling is the best in the market is the only approach we will take.” In 2016, the Smyth brothers decided to create a cabinet division. The process was so successful that they turned it into a business.

Accordingly, Cabinet Revival was born.

Since its inception, Cabinet Revival has grown exponentially, and its expansion has been a significant contribution to the cabinet refinishing industry. Douglas and Eric added their brother, Jon Smyth, as Field Manager and Sherry Hemond as Systems Facilitator. As a team, they work seamlessly together to provide an impeccable experience for our customers they continue to rave about.

Cabinet Revival is running on all cylinders and is now the number one cabinet refinishing company in Rhode Island.

Eric Smyth

Owner

Eric is our field operations manager. He works closely with our technicians to ensure each process and decision is executed seamlessly. Eric sees the project through from start to finish to ensure customer satisfaction.

Douglas Smyth

Owner

Doug is our sales and business director. He is the representative who will first come to your home to meet with you and discuss our process and pricing. He is often the liaison between the vendors and customers. Doug helps design each project to ensure our customers’ visions come to life.

Maryah Abosso​

Administrator​

Maryah is our office administrator that helps to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. She is often the first point of contact between our customers and our technicians. Together our Team works to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction!
